Our Ambassadors

Lucy Gossage

Lucy is a top IRONMAN triathlete, who seemingly ‘stumbled’ into the sport back in 2005 when she entered the London Triathlon as a ‘bit of a challenge.’

Fast forward a few years and Lucy is now performing at the very top of her game, finishing in 1st place at IRONMAN UK and Wales in 2013, and topping the podium at IRONMAN Lanzarote earlier this year.

And as if being a champion triathlete was not enough, Lucy is also a qualified cancer doctor – giving her an exceptional knowledge of the human body and how it works, which means she is the perfect fit for the Nordic Oil brand.

Tamsin Lewis ‘Sportie Doc’

Tamsin Lewis ‘aka Sportie Doc’ is a professional Middle Distance triathlete, and qualified doctor. (She completed a BSc in Neuroscience and Anatomy, and later specialized in psychiatry – working with patients with a whole host of conditions from addictions, to schizophrenia and dementia.) In 2009, Tamsin won Gold at the World Age Group Championships in Australia and it was from this point that she made the decision to embark upon life as a professional triathlete. Tamsin has a number of impressive results to her name, and is a frequent face on the international circuit – placing on the podium in most races. We are really excited to have Tamsin onboard – both for her expertise as a professional triathlete and through her medical knowledge and experience as a doctor.

Dan Halksworth

Dan ‘Hawky’ Halksworth is a top long distance triathlete with an impressive number of race results over the past couple of years; most notably winning IRONMAN UK in both 2012 and 2013 before going on to qualify for the coveted 2013 IRONMAN World Championships in Kona, Hawaii. He raced well and finished 24th Male Pro, an impressive result on the challenging course and in his first year, against a world-class field.  Dan is clearly a formidable force on the IRONMAN circuit and we are really excited to be supporting him across his 2014 race season.

Eimear Mullan

Eimear is an Irish Ironman triathlete, competing in both half and full Ironman distance events. In 2012 Eimear had a breakthrough season, winning both Ironman UK and Ironman UK 70.3 and in doing so made history by becoming Ireland’s first ever Ironman champion. She is also the only female athlete to have won both the Ironman UK and Ironman UK 70.3 titles in the same season. And 2013 has been just as impressive – Eimear took the Irish Ironman record at Ironman Austria. There is no stopping this girl! We are excited to work with Eimear as a Nordic Oil ambassador, and are pleased to support her with her training and racing.

Ritchie Nicholls

Ritchie Nicholls is another top middle distance triathlete – best known for his previous achievements at Olympic distance. Ritchie recently joined Triathlon experts Team TBB this year with one simple aim – this being to ‘go long’. And ‘go long’ he did – Ritchie won the coveted Ironman 70.3 UK 2013 title and is performing well in every race he enters. Watch this space – we are really excited to be working with Ritchie and look forward to seeing much more from him.

Mimi Anderson ‘Marvellous Mimi’

Mimi is an ultra runner, multiple World Record holder and outright inspirational lady. Mimi took up running in 1999 at the age of 36, quite simply because ‘someone told me it was the quickest way to change the shape of my legs!!’ She loves to see just how far she can push herself. Mimi has run in some of the hottest, coldest, windiest and driest places on earth; over mountains, on frozen rivers, sand, canyons, Jungle and snow. She has 3 World Records and is the first person to hold both End-to-End records simultaneously. We are delighted to support Mimi across her countless challenges and are excited about working with this inspirational lady.

Nikki Bartlett

The team at Nordic Oil are delighted to welcome Triathlete Nikki Bartlett on board as a Nordic Oil ambassador. An extremely talented sports lady, Nikki first excelled in the sport of rowing where she attended the European University Championships, Gold for Girls and was then fast tracked onto the GB rowing World Class Start initiative. After an injury Nikki found herself cycling and running to recover and started to enter triathlons and half ironmen.
